Easter is a great opportunity to invite friends to church who may not usually go. Many of the excuses we may use to put off doing so, pale in comparison to the great news of the gospel we celebrate at Easter.
Here are some verses to think about as you pray for friends and family who don’t know Jesus, and consider whom you could invite to church with you this Easter:
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15)
